Best Practices
May 2005

The Phase I of the Cross-SIS Project was dedicated to an internal status-quo analysis of the current spatial information systems present in the participating regions. This analysis had a strong focus on the users (citizens). One of the key results derived from Work Package 1 in Phase I is the compilation of best practices. These best practices were presented during the 2nd consortium meeting held in Arnhem in October 18-19, 2005. The document in hand provides a summary of the presentations (in alphabetical order).

STATISTICAL PILOT
WEB SERVICE

Each partner has set up the WMS-SLD services providing layers at least in WGS84/EPSG 4326. A pilot Client application has been developped integrating the WMS-SLD offered from each.
